CamMicLink is made by one person, so your email goes straight to the person who wrote the code. Bug reports and awkward setups are welcome — they usually make the next version better.

What to include

iOS/macOS version, device models, what you expected, what happened, and the exact steps. A screenshot or a short screen recording removes most of the guesswork.

Virtual camera missing

Approve the system extension in System Settings → General → Login Items & Extensions → Camera Extensions, then restart the app that should see the camera.

Silent virtual microphone

Check that the virtual microphone switch is on, that the other app is using CamMicLink Microphone as its input, and that the level meter moves in CamMicLink while you speak.

Purchases

Use Restore purchases on the purchase screen after changing devices. Refunds and billing are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Requirements

iPhone or iPad on iOS 17 or later, Mac on macOS 14 or later, both on the same local network. 3D Avatar additionally needs a TrueDepth camera (iPhone X or later).

Privacy requests

The app collects no personal data, so there is nothing to export or delete. If you think otherwise, email and I will look into it.
